Indivirtual is a European interactive agency active in the fields of web globalization, strategy, marketing design and web development. Currently we have full-time openings for Web Developer specializing in the SDL Tridion CMS. Our team enjoys an excellent reputation within the SDL Tridion market, and has extensive experience with the SDL Tridion Content Management System.

YOU WILL

  • Provide consulting advice to clients on web and content management programming techniques
  • Work with clients to apply creative technical solutions for business problems
  • Learn functionality of new Content Management System through training sessions, self-training and real-world exercises
  • Convert HTML Web pages into Data Driven HTML templates
  • Program C# applications using Visual Studio to read objects from CMS API and write XML and HTML output
  • Work at customer site
  • Create instructional documents on 'how to' topics ranging from updating website to developing additional programming modules
  • Read style guide and functional documents from customer and create technical solutions
  • Provide on-site instruction to customers on how to use the new CMS
  • Participate in software forum by actively posting and reading
  • Install and troubleshoot the CMS web server software on Microsoft IIS Web servers
  • Lead migration effort from a static HTML website to a dynamic data driven website
  • Create time-based planning for programming work
  • Conduct interviews with customers and end users on desired functionality of web CMS
  • Use existing knowledge of CMS products to quickly grasp the concepts of content management within SDL Tridion. Examples of CMS products are Interwoven, RedDot, Vignette, Stellant, DotNetNuke.
  • Successfully develop client relationships

OTHER INFORMATION

  • This position is a full-time position based in Arlington, VA.
  • Preferred start date is September 1, 2008.
