HTC Magic usability nightmare

You would think having an example as the iPhone would give you a lot of inspiration to create a great product. But the HTC Magic has one crazy design flaw that I call a usability nightmare. When you receive a call the big button on the front lights up. It asks for attention and almost forces you to press on it. That's the effect of a flashing button :-) But it doesn't do anything! Answering a call happens by pressing the much smaller green button. The big flashing button should be ignored. It's hard, but it can be done. Just take a deep breath and stop before you press, then choose the green button. Not the big flashing one!

Well you should be happy to at least have a physiscal button! On my HTC Touch HD there are four very sensetive touch buttons ranging from inadvertly calling people, to hanging up, which get frequently pushed by accident.
Or should I mention the standard alarm function on the phone which you can set, will go off, but is near impossible to turn off because you need a little stylus pen to open teh app and turning it off. Not the best thing to do in the morning...
I do get a little upset with the fact that no other phone manufacterer and/or mobile phone software company has been able to get the intuitive user friendlyness factor as with the iPhone...
Well actually I don't have this phone, I was just reviewing it. But your story of the alarm app did make me smile. thanks!
